MIP first offense 19yr old Oregon?

I have my court date on July 13th but I need to leave for California asap. I want to buy a plane ticket for the 14th of July but I don't know if court is going to require me to do other things. So my question is "would it be safe to buy the plane ticket now?" and also I was wondering if anybody might know how long I have till I can pay the fine. And if I can pay the fine from California.
