I think my great aunt dislikes me?

It sounds like she's a generally hateful person. She also sounds extremely arrogant. I wouldn't take it too personally. You're joke wasn't meant to upset anyone. I make jokes like that sometimes, since I live in Oregon, (no sun) and I'm as pale as a ghost. Don't talk to her. You have nothing to apologize for, and it doesn't sound like she deserves the time of day.
