Brittany spear's singing?

I not sure what i think about brittany's voice. There is a strange sound to it that i cant really classify. Is it uniqueness or a lack vocal talent. It's always sound like that and I have always question it from the beginning.I just wanna get your thoughts on it. At first I thought it was impossible to sound like that but I have heard people mimic it, so I know not completely edited.
