What does it mean?? Help please!!!!?

So, Daniel, is the guy i like. recently, he told my best friend (who is also his friend) that he likes me. ever since then, he never texts or anything. he always say gtg. I texted him hi today, and he said no offense but i dont want to talk to you. so i said i was just going to as you if amanda was texting you. then i was going to say bye. then he said im so sorry. no she isnt texting me. so i told him i can take a hint you know.. Bye. and he said bye bye! What the heck does that mean? since i texted him from my ipod, im not sure if he new that it was me. but i texted him before with it, a while ago, and he said he memorized it.
