Ipod Touch No sound HELLLPPPPP!!!!!!?

okay so here goes, the other day i was having a shower and i was listening to music and when i got out the music stopped and when i looked at it the was a little puddle of water on it, as soon as i saw the water i quickly wiped it off and it was working as usual. anywhoo i decided i would reset the ipod touch cause the music was stopping when i played it. when i did that and tried to turn it on it would not turn. i got so worried and listened to something i found on the net i stuck it on the dash bord of my car and waited when i came back from a sleepover tonight my dad had grabbed it out the car and put it on charge (my dad know bout it now working) it the picture on the screen had lighted up THANK YOU GOD!!! :D but i soon found out not all of the ipod was working NO SOUND GAHHH so i google it again the only way the sound would come back on was if i restored so i did that and it still wouldn't work i tried it again and i accidentally pulled it out half way through and now its FROZEN ARGHHHH!, i have no clue what to do also on another note when i went on youtube and played a video it said unable to play video so i think something is wrong with the settings or something PLEAAASSSEE Help pretty please :D
