Am I able to get contacts!!??!!?? Please HeLp!! :)?

I have an astigmatism in my eye/eyes ( I can't remember if it's 1 or both ) But I want to know if I can get contacts. I am 12 years old and i hate wearing glasses I have been wearing them since I was 4!!! :( I am just a bit sick of wearing glasses! ( no offense to people who wear glasses! :) )
